Family Single Estate : one family, one estate, for 11 generations
Since 1635, eleven generations of winegrowers succeeded each other at the head of family estate which extend on 50 hectares. Paul-Jen Giraud, tenth generation, is the guardian of a treasure trove of old cognacs. He passes on his art to his son Paul, and the two of them passionately share their attachment to these rare products.
Our vineyard is located in Bouteville, in the heart of Grande Champagne. Nestled in the valleys of the Premier Cru cognac region, our village is renowned for the quality of its soils, which give the spirits their characteristic finesse. We magnify the riches of this prestigious terroir, crafting authentic, exceptional cognacs with art and patience.
As a cognac craftsman, Paul Giraud himself takes great care over every stage in the long process of making his excellent cognacs: hand-picking, distillation with pearl-cutting, slow ageing in humid cellars and careful selection of the best eaux-de-vie.
